Who doesn’t like prime tens? They reel me in all the time, but they have their limitations. We all know China could fill up leading ten lists in its sleep, so the 1 compiled more than at National Geographic Traveler actually does not do the location justice.
I’m constantly up for some China information. So, I turn to you, TheExpeditioner readers, to throw some spice at this list and “step it up a notch” — Emeril style. With loads of your own travel experience, share your favored spots from China in the comment section beneath, or inform us what you consider of the list so far.
To get a start off, the initially ten usual suspects are . . . The Excellent Wall, Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, Xi’an, Temple of Heaven, Terra Cotta Warriors, Shanghai, Hong Kong Island, Stone Forest, and (a spot I want to get to regardless of becoming overrun with tourists) Lijiang. I’ll offer up the Ruinas de Sao Paulo Cathedral and surrounding neighborhood in Macau for a distinctly Portuguese getaway.
